Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year ambulance or emergency room experience preferred.
• Current certified Iowa EMT-P/PM or CCP; BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS highly recommended.
• Mandatory Reporter required.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (NVCI) within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial and ongoing patient observations to gather data.
• Assists in development of the outcome/goal-based plan of care.
• Assists with the implementation of the plan of care.
• Monitors patient progress toward outcomes/goals.
• Communicates relevant clinical information to the team to optimize outcomes.
