Job summary

Simmons Prepared Foods Inc is hiring for a Further Product Tech VB on the night shift at our production site. This role rotates through packer, scaler, styler, and grader, ensuring line speeds and product quality in a fast-paced poultry processing environment.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to LEAN and company policies, and active participation in ongoing improvement initiatives. Prior experience in a meat/food processing setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Competencies: Communication skills & decision quality – must communicate effectively with teammates and leadership.
• Ability to make good decisions in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between packer, scaler, styler and grader to maintain line speeds.
• Perform multiple types of packing and weighing as required.
• Inspect, grade and remove product that does not meet standards.
• Collaborate with the team to implement programs and policies and support Lean practices.
• Adhere to Simmons operating systems and safety policies.
