Mars Petcare is seeking an Operator 2 for the night shift at our Kansas City, MO manufacturing plant. The role focuses on safe, efficient production, quality, and adherence to GMPs while supporting change-overs and equipment flexibility.

The Operator 2 will monitor processes, perform basic maintenance, manage inventory, and provide leadership to temporary staff. Strong communication, teamwork, and reliability are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and computer skills.
• Willingness to follow safety policies and GMPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to complete the conversion process and package finished product.
• Conduct problem-solving and troubleshooting as necessary.
• Load packaged material, clear jams, reset faults, perform change-overs, and quality checks.
• Maintain area GMPs and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Support inventory and sanitation activities.
• Provide informal leadership to temporary associates.
