Job summary

Mars Petcare is seeking a Shift Manager - Nights at our Kansas City plant in Missouri. The role supervises a multi-line production area on a single shift, coordinating short-term activities to deliver quality products safely and efficiently.

It includes team training, policy enforcement, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent, 5 years in production, 3 years in a supervisory role, and solid GMP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent in engineering, basic sciences or business preferred.
• Five years in a production environment.
• Three years supervising or managing personnel.
• Working knowledge of GMP practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage operating teams on one shift to convert materials into quality products safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate training and development for associates and teams.
• Implement and enforce policies and strategies for the line/area.
• Drive continuous improvement and fault reduction across operations.
