Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a proven Operations Supervisor to lead a single warehousing location in Winlock, WA. The role focuses on directing hourly staff to meet customer requirements while achieving Penske goals, with bonus eligibility based on performance and location metrics.

The position oversees loading/unloading, cross-docking, and customer service activities, while managing attendance, coaching, and compliance. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to hourly workforce to ensure daily task execution (loading/unloading, cross-docking, customer service).
• Supervise processes directly including scheduling and adherence to policies; intervening with corrective actions.
• Participate in hiring and conduct necessary customer meetings.
• Lead team meetings and ensure staff training and competency.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance standards; provide coaching and feedback.
• Manage overtime, schedule adherence, and equipment utilization to meet productivity targets.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to company policies.
