Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Rocklin, CA to lead drivers and front-line staff, ensuring on-time deliveries and adherence to safety and company policies. This role features a Monday-Friday night shift from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM and a salary range of $59,100 to $78,300 with bonus eligibility based on performance and location.

The supervisor will manage daily tasks, provide coaching, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with customer service and transportation teams

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication skills and the ability to actively listen.
• Ability to manage through a problem, think critically, and make decisions independently.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and at the specific location.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers and staff to meet customer objectives.
• Provide coaching, conduct team meetings and performance reviews.
• Manage dispatch, documentation, and compliance with procedures.
• Monitor attendance, productivity and control overtime.
• Lead safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan work assignments to optimize fleet use.
