Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking an Operations Coach – Interiors Nights in Lexington, NC. This onsite leadership role guides a production team within the Distribution division to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.

You'll staff and train team members, monitor production metrics, coordinate resources, and ensure proper use of tools and PPE while collaborating with other coaches to maintain smooth nightly operations in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 6 months to 1 year related experience or on-the-job training.
• Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables and choose workable alternatives.
• Proficient computer and 10-key operation; typing around 45 WPM.
• Effective written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production team to safely achieve productivity and quality targets.
• Manage labor, monitor processes, and cover for absent team members.
• Facilitate production targets and coordinate with Team Leads for resource needs.
• Post hourly production status and ensure proper PPE and tool usage.
• Troubleshoot issues, determine root causes, and coordinate repairs with maintenance.
