Job summary

Celgard, LLC in Concord, NC is seeking a Production Supervisor to join the Leadership team. You will supervise a team of Manufacturing Technicians across Deply, Slitting, Testing, Pack-Out, and Backwinding and report to the Production Manager.

This role operates on a 12-hour shift from 6pm to 6am in a 24/7 site with a 2-2-3 schedule. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience, with strong math and mechanical skills, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; related field preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or IATF 16949, lean manufacturing, and 5S is a plus.
• Ability to work a 12-hour 6pm-6am shift on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of Deply, Slitting, Testing, Pack-Out, and Backwinding.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure safe work practices on the shift.
• Plan, organize, supervise, and schedule manpower and equipment.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding; develop new and transferred employees.
• Improve plant performance by reducing downtime and waste.
• Monitor shift metrics and audit ERP for accuracy and variance.
• Develop employees through coaching and performance reviews.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional meetings.
• Maintain positive working relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
