Artisan Field, Inc. is seeking an Operations Team Leader for overnight coverage (9:30 p.m.–8:00 a.m.) at our Virginia facility.

You will supervise skilled staff on a range of plant operations and assist the supervisor with planning, training, and performance management. The role combines 40% supervision and 60% hands-on Operations Technician duties, including monitoring, testing, data review, and coordination with maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of AlexRenew wastewater operation experience required upon completion of Team Lead program.
• Currently in Operations Technician II or higher.
• Completion of Team Lead program within 1 year of accepting the position.
• Virginia Wastewater Works Class 1 or 2 license; active.
• ABC Professional Operator Class II or obtain within 1 year; active certification.
• Knowledge of AlexRenew plant operations; offsite pump stations.
• Ability to interpret technical prints, drawings and process schematics.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated leadership to motivate staff and improve productivity.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SCADA and CMMS.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and mentor staff; enforce policies; promote positive work environment.
• Plan and schedule staff assignments; communicate critical information timely.
• Participate in interviews and onboarding for new hires.
• Independently monitor and operate liquid and solid processes; perform rounds.
• Place equipment in/out of service; coordinate with maintenance during outages.
• Conduct routine quality control sampling and analyses; analyze results.
• Review data trends; recommend process improvements and implement actions.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and compliance records.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform maintenance tasks and coordinate work orders with maintenance.
