RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for the Oncology Unit (MCC-8) at the Morris Cancer Center, New Brunswick campus. The role covers night shifts, 36 hours per week, and requires BSN, NJ RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

You will deliver specialized oncology nursing care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to evidence-based practice while ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Maintain awareness of ethical standards of practice per ANA code of ethics.
• Report safety issues and participate in patient safety initiatives.
• Know the patient population served and tailor care accordingly.
• Supervise and direct delegation to team members and collaborate with other providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes.
• Use nursing process to develop and adjust patient care plans.
