Job summary

City of Hope is hiring Clinical Nurse III for the 8-bed Evaluation and Treatment Center in Orange County. The role focuses on urgent evaluation and intervention for oncology patients, with triage, rapid assessment, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Qualified candidates hold a CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and 3–5 years in urgent care or ER settings. Night shifts with differential and weekend pay apply; ONS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for registered nursing.
• 3–5 years related experience in urgent care or ER settings.
• Current CA Registered Nurse License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS certification required; ONS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid assessments, triage and stabilisation for oncology patients.
• Administer medications, monitor responses and manage lines/infusion devices.
• Document using the clinical information system and ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate with inpatient, outpatient, and palliative teams.
• Mentor and supervise new staff; support interdisciplinary care planning.
