Job summary

City of Hope Orange County Cancer Specialty Hospital in Irvine is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse III for the Medical Surgical Unit to provide specialized oncology care to a diverse patient population.

You will guide and coordinate patient care, perform comprehensive assessments, monitor treatment side effects, and collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary team to support active treatment and recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and CA RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification is preferred.
• Experience in oncology nursing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Guide and coordinate care for oncology patients.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and monitor treatment side effects.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and role model for new staff.
• Document care plans per department standards.
