Job summary

Swedish Hospital Chicago seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the OB unit on the night shift. The role requires 18 months of Labor and Delivery experience and offers a $25,000 sign-on bonus.

You will provide end-to-end nursing care, coordinate with the care team, and support families during labor and delivery. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Illinois RN licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• 2 years of current Labor and Delivery/Nursery Level II experience preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Illinois Nursing licensure; CPR certification commonly required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients and families.
• Maintains competency reflective of current standards of practice.
• Guides and supervises staff in provision of patient care and ensures safety.
