Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the OB Unit, night shift (7p–7a), full-time, with rotating weekends/holidays and call requirements. A $25,000 sign-on bonus is offered, and travel within the Family Birth Center is expected.

Qualified candidates will have 2 years of Labor & Delivery/Nursery Level II experience, a valid Illinois RN license, and CPR certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required within six months depending on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduates from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Illinois Nursing licensure.
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Nursery Level II experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Maintain competency reflecting current standards of practice.
• Guide and supervise nursing personnel and ensure safety.
• Integrate evidence-based practice and timely documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure patient and staff safety.
