Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift PRN assignments. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, plan and adjust patient care, administer medications, and educate patients and families while collaborating with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida (or eligible).
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients across physiological, psychological, spiritual dimensions.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care.
• Coordinate care with medical staff and document in medical records.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
• Provide emotional support and supervise care delivery.
