Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Night shift (7:00 pm - 7:00 am) on a full-time basis. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and administer medications according to physician orders, ensuring safety and quality care while collaborating with the care team.

You must have an Associate’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred) and RN licensure, with BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills).
• Basic computer skills – navigate Windows-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate them regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols, monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and outcomes in the medical record.
