AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a compassionate RN to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring safety and quality while collaborating with the healthcare team.

This role requires an Associate's in Nursing (RN license), BLS, and strong communication. You will document care, educate patients and families, and participate in continuous improvement to extend the healing ministry.

Qualifications

• RN license required with active Florida license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and teamwork.
• Document patient information and care activities accurately in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care within the healthcare team.
• Engage in performance improvement activities and respond to code situations.
