Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to read and follow work orders.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and maintain quality performance.
• Mechanical aptitude and solid problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and cover shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shutdown all equipment according to established procedures or specifications.
• Perform minor to major clearing of jams and downtime issues on the line.
• Report abnormal equipment function or product problems to the Supervisor.
• Safely operate all equipment and promptly report incidents, injuries or safety hazards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area with proper 5S procedures.
• Maintain records such as Production Counts and Material Usage/Losses and document Batch Work orders.
• Adhere to product isolation procedures and proper identification of status.
• Ensure adequate supply of materials to equipment and monitor usage.
• Troubleshoot and adjust as required to maintain quality performance.
• Inspect products and materials for proper identification, codes and expiration dates.
