Essentia Health in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. You’ll perform hygiene support, vital signs, transfers, and documentation in a busy hospital setting.

Applicants should have nursing assistant training or 6 months of patient care experience and must obtain/maintain BLS. This role offers night shifts, 0.6 FTE, and union affiliation with SEIU Local 113.

Formación

• Must meet ONE of the following requirements: 6 months of patient care experience or completion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program or completion of an EH Nursing Assistant Foundation course within 1 month of hire or verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program or current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry.
• BLS certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire date or Essentia Health Foundation Course East Market completion within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal hygiene care and assist with nutritional needs.
• Provide comfort care and other assistance as needed.
• Safely transfer patients as required.
• Take vital signs and complete recordkeeping.
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment to promote healing.
