Qualifications

• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.

• 1 year recent experience in geriatric setting or acute care hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the interprofessional team in patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Delivers care with consideration to age-specific needs and contributes to unit functions.
• Assists with admissions, discharge, and transfer as directed by RN.
• Provides daily patient care and documents accordingly.
• Adheres to safety and infection control policies and uses proper body mechanics.
