The position emphasizes collaborative, interprofessional teamwork to deliver high-quality patient care in a geriatric/acute setting. Responsibilities include admissions/discharges, daily patient care, and adherence to safety and telemetry protocols, with weekend rotation as outlined.

Qualifications

• AHA Basic Life Support is REQUIRED.
• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 Year recent experience in geriatric setting or acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Admissions, Discharge and Transfer responsibilities: room set up, greet, orient patient and inventory belongings.
• Provide patient care within scope and document daily care per unit standards.
• Follow telemetry processes and communicate patient condition changes; collaborate with nursing staff.
• Ensure safety through infection control, proper body mechanics, and safe handling of equipment.
• Demonstrate time management by prioritizing workload and coordinating with licensed nurses.
