Job summary

CareCore Health LLC in Lima, Ohio is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor (LPN or RN) to lead overnight nursing operations while maintaining direct patient care. This full-time role focuses on supervision, clinical oversight, and hands-on duties including management of the medication cart.

The Night Shift Supervisor will oversee the nursing team, ensure quality resident care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maintain continuity of care during the night hours.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Ohio.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Prior leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead a team while maintaining direct patient care responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff on assigned unit.
• Ensure quality resident care and compliance with all regulations.
• Administer medications and treatments as assigned, including full med cart responsibilities.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes appropriately.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Address concerns from residents, families, and staff during shift.
