Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island RN license required.
• Three to five years of acute psychiatric nursing experience.
• Two years of hospital supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for creating and maintaining a culture of safety with focus on staffing, communication, and prevention of adverse outcomes.
• Support the hospital-wide patient safety program in all areas.
• Rounds on all units during the shift and obtain report from charge RNs.
• Lead as needed as a member of the code team.
• Ensure adequate staff response and facilitate debriefing processes.
• Provide clinical support and guidance as needed.
• Act as Incident Commander when required.
• Identify and manage risk; check in with Charge RN regularly.
• Ensure compliance with Brown University Health/Bradley policies and staffing.
