Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring for a Night Shift Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. The role focuses on providing high-quality medical care across admission, treatment, and discharge, with emphasis on coordination of pharmacy needs, documentation, and patient education.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and uphold ASAM standards in a 100-bed residential setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN licensure to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
• Minimum one year diploma program post-high school.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and efficient with multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for clients throughout admission, treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs and maintain med logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure care coordination.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.
