Job summary

Intermountain Health Saint Joseph's Hospital in Denver, CO seeks a Nurse Clinical Leader to provide leadership and clinical expertise during night shifts, manage unit resources and supervise staff to meet patient care and financial goals.

The role combines bedside nursing on the regular shift with governance support, including staff orientation, performance reviews, and guiding the unit toward KPI targets and quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
• Registered Nurses (RNs) hired or promoted into this role must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four years of hire or promotion date.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift, supervise staff, and manage unit resources to meet patient care and financial needs.
• Provide nursing leadership, including scheduling, competency maintenance, and new-hire orientation.
• Conduct staff performance reviews and support professional development.
• Serve as charge nurse on night shift and participate in audits and unit-based activities.
• Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team and ensure KPI/quality metric targets.
