Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Nurse Assistant at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA, on a 12-hour night shift. You will perform direct and indirect patient care under RN guidance, help with equipment cleaning, stocking, and patient transportation.

The role involves feeding patients, monitoring intake/output, collecting specimens, and supporting safety initiatives. A CNA registry or clinical rotations are required, with BLS certification and possible EMT substitution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PA Nurse Aide Registry (CNA) or clinical rotations completed in an accredited nursing program.
• 1 year of relevant experience and/or EMT certification may substitute for required certification/clinical rotation.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under RN guidance and physician orders.
• Obtains supplies and prepares patient rooms for admission and discharge.
• Assists with feeding and monitors intake/output, including dysphasia precautions.
• Collects specimens (urine, stool, etc.) and supports specimen handling.
• Assists with heat/cold packs, ace wraps, slings, and other basic orthopedic devices.
• Participates in hourly rounds to ensure patient safety and reduces risk of harm.
• Escalates conflicts or concerns to the Nurse Manager as needed.
