Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse NICU for a Level IV NICU to provide expert critical care to newborns in a 108-bed unit. This full-time night shift role requires handling direct patient care, coordinating plans, and guiding junior staff with a patient-focused approach.

The ideal candidate has ADN/BSN with 1 year NICU experience, Texas RN license, and certifications including STABLE, NRP, and PALS.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas or compact license.
• 1 year recent Level III/IV NICU experience in an acute care hospital.
• STABLE certification within 18 months of start date; NRP and PALS as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care in NICU.
• Plan, implement and evaluate care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within RN scope and policies.
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
