Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse NICU for our Level IV unit to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a 108-bed NICU. This full-time night-shift role (7P-7A) offers a collaborative team environment and opportunities to grow within a renowned tertiary care system.

Requirements include ADN/BSN, Texas RN license, 1 year NICU experience, PALS, STABLE and BCLS, with Magnet Hospital enrollment and ongoing professional development encouraged.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN required with Magnet Hospital enrollment and 24 months completion
• Texas State RN license or compact license accepted
• Must have one year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and direct patient care
• Plan, implement and evaluate care plans to optimize outcomes and resources
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within RN scope and policies
• Incorporate teaching into nursing practice

Education
