American Traveler is seeking a Night Shift RN for a Stroke/Neuro Progressive Care Unit, offering 12-hour night shifts and a fast-paced hospital setting. Requirements include an active VA or Compact RN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications, and experience in neuro/telemetry care.

EPIC charting experience is required, with patient care focused on stroke and neurology patients in a Joint Commission-accredited center.

Qualifications

• Active VA or Compact RN license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience in neuro/telemetry care and cardiac monitoring.
• Proficient in IV therapy, phlebotomy and line care.
• Comfort with cardiac drips and telemetry settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to stroke and neuro patients on telemetry PCU.
• Float within PCU/IMC/stepdown units as needed.
• Utilize remote telemetry monitoring and tele-sitting supports.
• Maintain EPIC charting for patient records.
