Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit at a Magnet Hospital. The 27-bed unit cares for IMCU, neurology, and medsurg patients; night shifts are 12 hours with a total of 36 hours per week for a 14-week assignment.

Requirements include an Active MA RN license, BLS, telemetry certification, 1 year IMCU experience, 2 years medsurg/telemetry, knowledge of neuro care and trachs, plus a telemetry rhythm interpretation test on day one.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Telemetry certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of IMCU experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent medsurg and telemetry experience required.
• Experience with neuro care, MIs, and trachs required.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips required.
• Telemetry test on day one."

Responsibilities

• Care for IMCU, neurology, and medsurg patients on night shifts.
• Coordinate with medical team for neuro and cardiology patients.
• Utilize auto med dispensing systems.
• Maintain patient safety and telemetry monitoring.
• Support high-acuity telemetry and IMCU patient care.
