Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Neuro ICU RN for a comprehensive stroke center in Charlotte, NC. Must have a minimum of 2 years Neuro ICU experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours/week, nights (12-hour shifts) with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and floating within the facility. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; EPIC experience essential. Travel/local pay options apply.

Qualifications

• Active NC or compact RN license required (pending accepted at submission).
• Minimum 2 years dedicated Neuro ICU experience required; general ICU not accepted.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Required EPIC charting system experience.
• Preferred arterial line management.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Neuro ICU of a comprehensive stroke center.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio 2:1, may flex to 3:1 during high census.
• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours/wk possible.
• Floating within or near the facility.
