Job summary

Sharp Decisions is seeking a NOC Technician in Annapolis Junction, MD for a 12-month contract (night shift 10PM-6AM). The role pays $26/hr on W2 and requires vigilant network alarm handling, fault isolation, and escalation to ensure SLA commitments.

You will monitor events, open and track tickets, coordinate with field teams, and support Tier III during critical outages while maintaining professional conduct and timely communication with peers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Network Fault Management: Perform network fault isolation and repair.
• Event Management Support: Ensure on-shift or on-call supervisor is notified of events requiring notification.
• Case & Change Management: Open, status, update, and close repair activities in databases; direct field resources to resolve impairments.
• Emergency Response: Provide backup and support Tier III during critical events.
• Workload Management: Monitor alarms/tickets and manage shift brief.
• Project Management: Complete assigned projects within deadlines.
