Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the NW Children’s Neonatal Unit. Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings.

Night shift with 24 hours scheduled weekly. The RN is accountable for nursing practice per Ohio Board of Nursing, delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs, and coordinates assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, within the 24/7/365 schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Document planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluate responses and revise care plans with the team.
• Leadership - Participate in process improvement for quality and safety.
• Operations - Support daily unit operations and safety practices.
