Mercy Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neonatal ICU on night shifts. You will apply the nursing process to deliver direct patient care, maintain patient rights, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

This full-time role requires a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, BLS, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Mercy offers a comprehensive benefits package and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• RN license current in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Physical requirements: push/pull 50 pounds, prolonged standing/walking, reaching/bending/kneeling/twisting/squatting.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
