Mercyhealth seeks a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, holistic nursing care in a clinical setting. Two 12-hour shifts, midshift/night coverage. Position emphasizes nursing process, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and strict adherence to policies and patient safety standards.

Requirements include ADN with BSN preferred, an active RN license, and CPR/BLS within 90 days. ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required per unit; color vision testing may be requested.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• State RN license required; CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days.
• ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team in patient care.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per policies and standards.
• Documents according to standards of care and state law.
• Develops and executes a patient plan of care with physician input.
• Performs assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation of care.
• Contributes to department performance improvement and peer review.
