Job summary

Mercyhealth ER seeks a dedicated registered nurse to provide compassionate care on night shifts in the emergency department. The RN will apply the nursing process, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate, RN license, and CPR/BLS within 90 days; ADN required, BSN preferred; additional certifications like ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire; BSN preferred.
• Licensed RN in state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days.
• ACLs/PALS/PEARS/NRP and other unit certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques and standards of care.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
• Develops and executes a patient plan of care as prescribed by physician or policy.
