Job summary

GAF Materials Corp. in Newton, KS, is seeking a Multicraft Technician II to perform advanced maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and facility systems in a high-volume plant. You will diagnose issues, follow blueprints, document work in Maximo, and support safe, reliable production.

The role requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance, a strong reading of schematics, and experience with 480V systems, VFDs, welding, and millwright tasks. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience in high-volume plants.
• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix/RSLogix 5000, 480V controls, welding, and millwright work.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced maintenance support and PMs for plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems using blueprints and meters.
• Perform welding (MIG and rod) and millwright tasks; work on pipe systems.
• Document work in Maximo and coordinate with maintenance/planning teams.
