Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
- Effective communication, both oral and written
- 8+ years in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical/electrical equipment
- Expert proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, PLC, welding and rigging; Perdue QEW Certification
- Commitment to continuous learning to gain higher expertise
Responsibilities
- Performs complex technical tasks and decisions.
- Demonstrates maintenance tech III proficiency within 10 months of hire.
- Troubleshoots PLCs and PLC hardware interactions.
- Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs complex machinery and systems.
- Collaborates with production and other technicians to solve problems with reliability and urgency.
- Conducts root cause analysis on malfunctions and efficiency issues.
