Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and equivalent experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• 8+ years in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, problem-solving and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, PLC, welding and rigging; Perdue Farms QEW Certification.
• Commitment to continuous learning to achieve higher expertise.

Responsibilities

• Performs extraordinarily complex technical tasks and decision-making.
• Must demonstrate Maintenance Tech III proficiency within 10 months of hire.
• Troubleshoot PLC hardware and interactions with PLC systems.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex machinery and control systems.
• Collaborate with production teams and other technicians to resolve problems with urgency.
• Investigate and repair electrical and mechanical systems; maintain records and report findings.
• Conduct root cause analysis on malfunctions and efficiency issues.
• Seek ways to drive plant and maintenance cost efficiencies.
• Mentor and train lower-level mechanics and techs in equipment servicing.
