The role focuses on complex diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and working with operators to maintain peak plant efficiency on the 2nd shift. A strong foundation in industrial maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5-8 years in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Expert proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging.
• Intermediate proficiency with PLC.
• Commitment to continuous learning and effective communication.
• Maintain Perdue Farms QEW certification.
• Must achieve Maintenance Tech III proficiency within 10 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex machinery and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Provide operators with support around machine reliability and collaborate with teams.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment setup and production changeovers.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and report safety concerns.
• Follow safety and quality guidelines to exceed production standards.
• Maintain accurate work records and reports.
