Job summary
gpac is seeking a Maintenance Technician based out of Chaseburg, WI, to support a highly automated dairy facility on a 24/7 schedule. The role emphasizes safe, compliant operation of production, packaging, and utility systems, with a strong focus on reliability and preventive maintenance.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, pumps, conveyors, and pasteurizers.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food/beverage preferred).
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and automated packaging equipment.
- Experience maintaining pumps, conveyors, separators, and pasteurizers.
- Familiarity with instrumentation, calibration, and sanitary process systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and electrical drawings.
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and wastewater systems a plus.
- Commitment to food safety, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Safety-conscious mindset with ability to work independently on 6pm-6am shift.
