Job summary

gpac is seeking a Maintenance Technician based out of Chaseburg, WI, to support a highly automated dairy facility on a 24/7 schedule. The role emphasizes safe, compliant operation of production, packaging, and utility systems, with a strong focus on reliability and preventive maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, pumps, conveyors, and pasteurizers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food/beverage preferred).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and automated packaging equipment.
• Experience maintaining pumps, conveyors, separators, and pasteurizers.
• Familiarity with instrumentation, calibration, and sanitary process systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and electrical drawings.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and wastewater systems a plus.
• Commitment to food safety, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Safety-conscious mindset with ability to work independently on 6pm-6am shift.

Maintenance Technician, based out of Chaseburg, WI, $26-33/hr

This is a hands-on, multi-craft maintenance position supporting a highly automated dairy facility. The role focuses on ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operation of production, packaging, and utility systems across a 24/7 operation.
