Job summary
Organic Valley, Chaseburg Creamery in Chaseburg, WI, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to cover 6 pm–6 am shifts on Mon/Tue and every other Fri–Sun. This onsite role supports a 24/7 dairy processing operation, with responsibilities spanning mechanical, electrical, and controls maintenance for production, packaging, and utilities.
The position emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and documentation, including calibration and preventive maintenance using CMMS systems.
Qualifications
- Advanced aptitude in electromechanical and mechanical maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and instrumentation.
- Proven ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs and OEM manuals.
- Experience with PLCs and robotics in a dairy/food processing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance safely and in compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
- Adhere to FDA/USDA/State requirements and document maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain production, packaging, and utility systems.
- Coordinate contractor work and manage parts to minimize downtime.
