Job summary

Frito-Lay North America, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps.

The role requires reading schematics, electrical testing, and working with PLCs while supporting preventative maintenance and work-order processes. Candidates should have electrical certification or technical training and be ready to operate welding tools.

Qualifications

Two years of mechanical/eElectrical repair experience in manufacturing preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old and able to work weekends/holidays.
Able to lift 15 to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
Able to work in extreme temperatures and hazardous/loud environments.
Experience with electrical repair and multi-craft maintenance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Repair AC/DC electrical systems and read schematics; use testing equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and manage work orders.
Operate lathes, mills, arc and Heliarc welders for repair.
Assist entry-level mechanics and respond to maintenance calls promptly.
