Job summary

Frito-Lay is seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic in Wooster, OH to troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, valves, and pumps. You will handle AC/DC electrical systems, read schematics, and use testing equipment.

The role supports preventative maintenance and requires multi-craft skills across electrical and mechanical domains. You may be invited to join a team that values safety and reliability, with opportunities to grow within PepsiCo’s expansive maintenance

Qualifications

Minimum two years of mechanical/electrical repair experience preferred.
Must be 18+ and available on weekends/holidays.
Ability to lift 15–50 pounds with or without accommodation.
Able to stand, walk for extended periods; climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel.
Willing to work in extreme temperatures, humidity, loud equipment, slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, valves, and pumps.
Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems; read schematics; use testing equipment.
Support preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking.
Operate mills, lathes, arc welders, and Heliarc welders for repairs and fabrication.
Respond to maintenance calls and diagnose a wide range of machinery.
