Job summary

Flex-N-Gate LLC. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair facility equipment including presses, plating systems, paint line conveyors, and compressors.

You will troubleshoot motor control systems and read blueprints, with welding duties as needed. The role requires passing health and safety tests, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass pulmonary function test and respirator exam for negative pressure protection.
• Must be clean shaven in areas where a respirator seal is required.
• Must communicate in English.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma is required; vocational training preferred.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain equipment throughout the facility including polish heads, plating hoists, pumps, presses, paint line conveyor systems, and compressors
• Maintain and troubleshoot motor control systems including pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with Power & Free systems and equipment rack
• Read and accurately interpret blueprints and schematics
• Perform welding for repair work as needed
• Safely operate cranes, hoists, forklifts, and aerial work platforms up to 60 feet
• Utilize and work with maintenance trades and components such as mechanical, welding, fabrication, and pipefitting
• Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety and quality standards
• Work in variable temperatures indoors and outdoors ranging from subzero to 150°F
• Wear required PPE including respirator and Level B chemical suit when necessary
• Employees are required to provide their own tools
• Other duties as assigned
