Job summary

Worthington Steel in Cleveland is seeking a multi-craft maintenance technician for the Night shift (11p-7a). You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and repair machinery to keep production running efficiently.

Strong PLC and ladder logic familiarity, plus HMIs, is preferred. The role requires 3-5 years in manufacturing maintenance, hydraulics/pneumatics knowledge, welding ability, and adherence to safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing.
• CPR and first aid training may be required.
• Lockout/Tagout, fall protection, PPE, confined spaces training.

Responsibilities

• Complete mechanical repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Complete welding and fabrication tasks with minimal direction.
• Enter data into maintenance system accurately and timely.
• Perform advanced electrical work safely.
