Job summary
Georgia-Pacific in Modesto, CA is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, Journeyman for the night shift (7:00 pm - 7:00 am). The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to increase uptime and reliability.
Orientation and training will be on 1st shift, with competitive benefits and an hourly rate of $37.88. The candidate will read schematics, perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, and support safe work practices
Qualifications
- Three (3) or more years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment.
- Three (3) or more years of experience with mechanical troubleshooting.
- Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience in mechanical fabrication and repair, replacing components.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and repair equipment following plant policies.
- Support production goals by maintaining equipment uptime and reliability.
- Install and repair mechanical components, welding, and fabrication.
- Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Work various shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
