Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Modesto, CA is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, Journeyman for the night shift. Hourly rate $37.88 with a competitive benefits package. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment in a safe environment.

Role requires mechanical and electrical understanding, willingness to work extended hours, and potential growth across Koch facilities. This is not visa sponsoreligible.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair equipment.
• Experience reading mechanical/electrical schematics.
• Experience with mechanical fabrication and repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical problems, repair and maintain all equipment per plant policies.
• Help meet production, waste and quality goals via a preventive maintenance program.
• Install and repair mechanical components, welding, fabrication as needed.
• Read and interpret mechanical, basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Perform tasks requiring lifting and physical activity up to 12 hours per day.
