Job summary

Flex-N-Gate Ventra Ionia is seeking a Molding Maintenance Supervisor for the night rotation. You will oversee installation, maintenance and repair of molding equipment and related systems, lead hourly maintenance staff, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced plant.

Experience in injection molding is preferred, with a focus on preventing downtime and coordinating with contractors. Willingness to be on call and support continuous improvement will be essential.

Qualifications

• Five years in a mechanical/electrical capacity as a tradesman or related experience.
• Ability to manage maintenance schedules and safety compliance.
• Experience in a production environment with continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize work requests; ensure parts availability.
• Follow up on work orders to meet specifications and timelines.
• Maintain stock inventory of spare parts and materials.
• Prepare manpower schedules and manage vacations.
• Inspect areas for housekeeping and safety compliance.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and contractor activities.
• Read equipment manuals and interpret work orders for service.
